Fishing
Fishing, why do I like fishing, well, it's a pleasant waste of time......
I have been fishing since I was a kid, started in the canal at the end of our garden with a rod and line from good ol' Wollworths... It was a start.
Best places I have fished, Windsor Great park, River Avon, some old tin mines in Warwickshire, Black Land Lakes in xxxxxx, and my local, Thorp lakes. One other place is xxxx river, this has a small run through a relatives back garden and full of trout, cool place, no one else fishes there so there are no swims, makes for some interesting and good fishing...
The pictures below are from a camping weekend at Black Land Lakes in October '99, good weekend, cold as we where camping, but I managed to beat my personal best, first was a 7.5lb Carp and the next day a 13lb Carp....! Best yet.
Next on my list is a pike, the one fish I have yet to catch, Thorp lakes has some big one, and one with my name on it.......
